Here's something I've been toying with today: a "Hootsuite / Seesmic" style interface. You can view it at: http://slowhunch.com/hunches/hootmic (You must be logged in). What do you think of this style interface? It's more iPad-like: the list of hunches in the middle, and when you click on one, it appears in the right pane.
This, of course, does NOT work in IE7. Works in Firefox (PC and Mac), Chrome Mac and PC (a touch funky, tho, gotta fix a couple things) and works great in Safari (the scroll is fastest). Feedback welcome.

Ah, nice. Goview rocks. I'm sold. Couple of things: 1.) What screen resolution are you using? This layout is pretty wide: 1200px or so. 2.) The blue panel on the left could be "collapsed" so it slides to the left when not needed. This would fit it into 960px which is a good width. 3.) I like the idea of the left panel because we'll be able to have tons of options in there: "Your Private Hunches", "Your Recently Commented Hunches", "Other Hunchers", "Hunches You're Following", "Hunchers You're Following", "Favorites", etc. This won't fit in the top horizontally. Thanks for the feedback.
Oh, one last thing I thought of: Google won't be able to crawl these pages successfully, since they use Javascript extensively. So in any case, the html "normal" site will have to remain. This "workstation" approach is just another option.
Here's another version - more iPad-ish. http://min.us/mvfHisn You guys HAVE discovered min.us, haven't you?
