This idea came to my mind when I was thinking of printing a couple of photos (normal quality, regular paper) while on vacation to glue them on postcards and sending them to some friends of mine. Why not build a network where people can sign up with their printers indicating their brand and model, whether they can print on B/W or also in colors, if they have only regular paper or also photo paper to print on, and make it available to other users? If enough people would be part of this network, anyone could print from a few distance from where they are at and in cases like the one described in the above paragraph I could get the job done quicker (more "hotspots" for printing on the area I'm at) and probably cheaper (there could be lists of symbolic prices for each country or state based on the prices of printers, original cartridges and whether the print is B/W or in colors on the website). My only concern is robbery. What do you think of this idea? Do you have any hunch for making sure my concern doesn't materialize (if such a website will be built, of course)?
When I said my only concern is robbery, what I meant was robbery could be an issue, but others arise, of course, such as rape, child molesting or murder.
