Why does it take up to 1-5 years to get a patent application through the system? Is it a manual process, can a sophisticated database help? Is it just people power? I would think that hiring people to reduce the time to bring new innovations to market would be on every politician’s agenda these days. What can we do to help? Is this a job for Google or a new Patent database search system? Any suggestions? Can anyone rate legalzoom.com for patent work?
I've always wondered why it takes so long to patent something but feel that a lot of times it's to get more money out of the person trying to patent something... I've watch many videos on how you have to try multiple times to get it done...and that it can get rejected multiple times... I think that's why I have never really pursued one...
